The Dr. Witney H. Rose Memorial Fund was established
in 2003 to honor the late Witney Rose and her
commitment to give back to her community in Baltimore,
Maryland. Witney was an outstanding student and Witney
committed to giving back to her community by
volunteering and later used her medical degree from
Hahnemann University to further her commitment to

extinguished in 2003 when she became a victim of a
Domestic Violence Homicide. This generous scholarship

characteristics of Dr. Witney Holland Rose, a male or
female who is hardworking, committed to making a
difference in their community, has a desire to explore a
career in medical science and will continue to carry the
“light of service” once carried by Dr. Rose. In addition:

college freshman
