| Witney’s L.I.G.H.T.S., (Leadership Institute for Guiding and Helping Tomorrow's Servant leaders) is a youth education program committed to training and empowering youth leaders within troubled communities. Students will be invited to participate in the Leadership Institute based upon their sincere desire to become educated about the violence that plagues their environment and their commitment to make a difference by giving back to their community. As a fellow of Witney's L.I.G.H.T.S; students will receive Domestic Violence Awareness and life skill training that will prepare them to serve as effective leaders in their community. The Leadership Institute will be staffed with highly qualified instructors who are experts in the fields of leadership, education, medicine, social services and community resources. Students will be exposed to both traditional classroom settings as well as diverse cultural experiences. |
